Tasting Class : Wines of Portugal

Join our Sommelier, Damon Callis and guest speaker, Alyssa Wolf as we explore a selection of wine styles and growing regions from Portugal. In this hour and a half class, we will chat about the characteristics of this rapidly growing region and how differences in terroir and winemaking techniques affect the wines. We will discuss the process and history of winemaking, the deductive tasting method, and answer any wine related questions you may have in our round table discussion. Small bites for food pairing will be served with the tasting. You will have the opportunity to purchase wines at a special rate afterward.
